This Is My Story
I was 9 years old when I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The doctors told my parents that I would not survive. Then, when I started to get sick, there wasn’t much to look forward to anymore.
Then I Met Beary
One day, when I was at the hospital, “Teddy Bears For Hope” came in and brought me a really nice bear. I named him Beary. He became my best friend! I would host pretend tea parties and talk to my bear when I was lonely. Whenever my motivation was low, Beary was there to remind me of the good in the world. With the emotional support of Beary, I was able to overcome my illness. Beary saved my life! I’ll never forget the kindness that was done for me. Thanks for everything “Teddy Bears For Hope”!
